The pardon and parole files are arranged alphabetically by the last name of the inmate. They include records for inmates at Kansas correctional facilities, including: Kansas State Penitentiary, Kansas State Industrial Reformatory (approx. 1927-1945), and the Kansas State Industrial Farm for Women (approx. 1921-1962). (Also parole certificates issued by the Coffeyville City Court.) The files can include correspondence, petitions, and testimonials on behalf of the inmate; prisoner interview records, parole reports, and other related materials.
Oversize Folder 1 contains map: [Plat of sections 16, 22, 23, and part of 26 in township 3 south, range 33 west of the sixth P.M., Rawlins County, Kansas, as it appeared in 1889 & 1890], by S.C. Gaunt, 1894 Mar. 10; 58 x 43 cm. Diagram shows location of farm & buildings near residence of applicant, but applicant's name or other information is unknown.
