Scope and content: Records related to requisitions to the Kansas Governor from other states' governors in order to extradite individuals accused of crimes. Series consists of 1 volume and 1 bundle. The bundle covers years 1886-1898 and does not have any type of arrangement. This bundle contains requisitions and supporting documents that were sent to the Governor's office from other states. The volume covers the years 1893-1932 and has an alphabetical index in the front. After the index, it is arranged chronologically and lists the case number, the date of request, fugitive name, the requesting state, name of agent, crime charged, and county suspect is believed to be located in. The volume begins Series I with case number 1817 and switches to Series II at the start of 1899. Series II starts the numbering over again at 1 and continues to 4395.
