Summary: This letter from Charles D. Puckett of Dallas, Texas, to Kansas governor Arthur Capper of Topeka discusses claims from the Price Raid of 1864. Puckett's in-laws, Washington and Mary Ann Boggs, had property confiscated during the Price raid. Following the raid, Puckett's in-laws were given bonds totaling $500.
