Scope and content: A letter from J. C. Jones of Junction City, Kansas, asks to organize a regiment at Junction City. A letter on October 3, 1874, from Cochran B. Taylor in relation to supplies. Additional correspondence is from S. Wolf and Bro. of Leavenworth, Kansas to C. A. Morris, Adjutant General, regarding prices of blankets. A telegraph on July 6, 1876, from Kansas Governor Osborn to H. T. Benson states he has obtained an order for one thousand improved guns.
