Scope and content: A letter on March 22, 1876, from Mary H. Wilson, asks if there is an orphan home in the State of Kansas, as she wants to care for a little girl of ten or twelve years of age. A letter on January 19, from Mrs. Thomas Plowman, asks if there will be a change in Superintendent for the Blind Institute as she is not satisfied with the current Superintendent.
