Scope and content: This file contains several requisitions to the Governor of Texas for the rendition of specific individuals to Kansas. A requisition is an official order laying claim to property or materials. The first letter is an application to Kansas Governor St. John to request he send a requisition to the Governor of Texas for the rendition of Harrington Rogers and Clark. There is another application for requisition to the Governor of Texas for Patrick McClarney. Also included is a letter from an adjunct general requesting that Kansas Governor St. John grant a requisition for John Scott alias ?Scotty?.
