Scope and content: Letters to Kansas Governor St. John in relation to rewards offered for the capture of various criminals in Kansas. One letter asks for a reward for the capture of John and William Burke who are accused of stealing a pair of mules. A separate letter from a citizen of Junction City, Kansas asks the Governor to increase his reward offer for the capture of the murderer of George Didrick. The file includes a copy of an affidavit for the arrest of Millard Eaton, who is accused of murder in Lincoln County, Kansas.
