Scope and content: A letter from George E. Terry informs Kansas Governor St. John he knows the whereabouts of Dan Henson, who is accused of the murder of a citizen in Comanche County, Kansas. In Terry?s letter, he asks the Governor to send a detective and not to inform the newspaper as Dan has people watching. A separate letter from Sheriff W. B. Masterson of Ford County asks the Governor if there is a reward for the capture of Dan Henson.
