Scope and content: These two letters, dated April 15, 1885 and February 18, 1887, are from J. F. Buck, the superintendent of the State Reform School regarding the admittance of students into the school to Kansas Governor John Martin. Buck wrote discussing the admittance of individual pupils including acceptances and restrictions. The State Reform School was established in 1879.
