Many letters discuss the organization of the county including the controversy surrounding the organization. Other letters discuss the appointment of individuals to various offices including the notary public, county clerk, county commissioners, probate judge, and the city of Coldwater as the temporary county seat. Also, a Governor's Proclamation of the official organization of Comanche County as well as the temporary county seat of Coldwater is included.
