Scope and Content

Scope and content: These letters, spanning 1886 to 1888, are from the Constitutional Centennial Commission board and other individuals regarding the Constitutional Centennial Commission national convention, to be held in 1889, and the Permanent Exposition of the Three Americas to Kansas Governor John Martin. Most of the letters plan the convention and exposition discussing the appointment of delegates to the national convention as well as the acceptance of those appointments. Newspaper clippings and a pamphlet detail the events and summarize the Constitutional Centennial Commission national convention and the Permanent Exposition of the Three Americas.
