Scope and content: These letters, spanning 1885 to 1887, are from the office of the Florida Chautauqua regarding the Southern States Forestry Congress to Kansas Governor John Martin. Letters cover multiple sessions of the Southern States Forestry Congress. Pamphlets explain the reasons for the congress as well as the goals and outcomes of it.
