Topeka - Ad Astra Plaza Dedication - State Capitol
Come join us for the dedication of the Ad Astra Plaza at the Kansas State Capitol. A beautiful plaza has been created to feature a 6-foot-tall statue of Ad Astra and bronze plaques to honor donors. This statue is a replica of the 22-foot-tall statue on the Capitol dome. Both statues were created by Richard Bergen of Salina. The statue on the Capitol dome was installed in 2002. The plaza is located southwest of the statehouse.
