Fromme-Birney Round Barn

The Fromme-Birney Round Barn was constructed circa 1908-1912 by Irish immigrant William "Pat" Campbell. The wood-frame barn is one-story with sixteen sides and a central silo. Its design was influenced by agricultural and architectural journals, which provided specifications for round and polygonal barns between 1890-1920. This specific type of barn was promoted as being time and labor saving as well as more wind resistant than traditional gabled-roof barns, however were more expensive to build. The barn was one of 23 extant round barns identified in Kansas at the time of nomination and was nominated for its architecture.

Constructed in 1887-1888, the Greensburg Well supplied water for the Santa Fe Railroad and the City of Greensburg. The City granted a right-of-way to the Greensburg Water Supply and Hydraulic Company that was formed under the auspices of the Santa Fe Railroad for the sole purpose of digging the well and constructing the waterworks. Beginning in 1887, J. H. Rhodes, chief engineer, supervised the entire project with J. W. Wheeler supervising the digging and walling of the well and Harry F. Hall overseeing the carpentry work. The railroad utilized the well until 1895 after which ownership passed into different hands until the city purchased it. The well was used until 1932, and in 1939 became a tourist attraction and has been so since. It was nominated for its association to the development of Greensburg.

The Robinett Building is an early 20th century Main Street commercial building located in downtown Greensburg. It stands as the business district's lone survivor of the devastating May 2007 tornado. This two-story brick building with concrete trim was built in 1915 to better withstand the elements after a fire destroyed much of the downtown wood frame buildings. The building is nominated for its commercial significance and as the only remaining early 20th century downtown building.

This is one of 30 American Indian rock art sites located in the state of Kansas. The majority of the sites are located in four counties in the central part of the state. Smaller numbers are located in southeast and southwestern Kansas. These sites have examples of anthropomorphic figures and human-like forms, animals and animal-like forms, geometric designs, straight lines, and grooves. Several styles of anthropomorphic petroglyphs have been recognized. Previous analysis of a fraction of this rock art indicates it is the product of Indian tribes inhabiting Kansas during the protohistoric and historic periods of circa AD 1541 to AD 1870.
