Kansas State Capitol - Online tour - Ground level
All visitors enter the Capitol at the north wing, ground level. The underground parking is connected by elevators and stairs and leads to the security entrance. This level of the Capitol is made of native Kansas limestone from the Junction City area. Unused space before the renovation, the ground level was lowered and there are skylights and offices. The Revisor of Statutes, Legislative Research, computer services, housekeeping, and Capitol Police all have offices in this space where all visitors enter.
