Kansas State Capitol - Online tour - North steps
From the north steps you can view the city of Topeka. The Capitol was completed in four main phases, the east wing, the west wing, the south wing and the north wing and dome. The north steps were designed as the front of the building. An earlier renovation made the south steps of the Capitol the "front porch" of the building. The current renovation will return the north steps as the entrance. The parking garage can be accessed underground from the north side.
